Use a sharp scan or screenshot of the whole card. If the button does not work, drag the file onto the page, or paste the image with Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac).
The AI only gets the artwork of the card, without the gray border. It paints the border and everything around it as a continuation of the artwork, and afterwards your real card is pasted back over it. Choose a bottom option if the AI keeps drawing the text boxes outward.

3Let the AI look at the card
The AI first looks at your card and decides what belongs only on the card (like the Pokémon itself or a sun) and what the environment is that should continue. This happens automatically when you start, but you can look at it and adjust it here first.
This way the AI no longer sees the wing or sun at the edge, so it cannot continue it. Where the subject was, the AI first paints only the background. Your real card is pasted over it again at the end. The pink boxes on the small preview show what the AI pointed out; adjust the numbers if a box is not right.

How to get your own key and add credit (about 5 minutes)
- Go to platform.openai.com and sign in or create an account. This is the API platform, separate from a ChatGPT subscription.
- Open Settings → Billing and add a payment method. Buy prepaid credit; a small amount is enough to try it. API usage does not come out of a ChatGPT Plus subscription.
- In the same Billing area, set a monthly spending limit so you can never spend more than you intend.
- Open API keys and choose Create new secret key. Copy it right away, it is only shown once.
- Paste the key in the field below. Keep the quality on Low while you experiment: each run is one paid call per step.
- If you get an error that the model is not available for your account, OpenAI may ask you to verify your organization first (Settings → Organization → General → Verify).
Your key is saved only in this browser, and only if you tick "Remember key". Never share it, and delete it at platform.openai.com/api-keys if you think it leaked.
Bring your own key: every image is billed to your OpenAI account, not to the maker of this page. Create one at platform.openai.com/api-keys and add some credit. Set a spending limit there.
The key stays in your browser and is only sent to api.openai.com, never to the page owner or anyone else. Results vary from run to run, so expect to try a few times.
With smeared edges the AI gets the colors and directions of the large shapes, without objects being copied. With the mirrored sketch a sun or character can appear twice.
Keep the quality on Low until the continuation looks right, and do not press retry repeatedly. Every image costs money on your OpenAI account. For these models OpenAI may first ask to verify your organization.
Export
Print the PDF at 100%, without scaling to fit the page.
Review
Only this pocket is replaced; the rest of the page and your card stay as they are. The result is added as a new variant, the previous one is kept.
What the AI receives
Left: what the AI receives as its starting point in the last step: the artwork of your card with a vague color draft around it. Right: the mask: only the opaque part stays untouched, the rest is painted.
